Ochsner Honors Medical Pioneer with a Mellon Bronze

Ochsner Health Systems has honored world-renowned cardiothoracic heart surgeon and medical pioneer Dr. John Ochsner as it celebrates the dedication of the “John Ochsner Heart and Vascular Institute.” Dr. John Ochsner is the Chairman Emeritus of the Department of Surgery at Ochsner Medical Center. Dr. Ochsner was honored at a dinner attended by an esteemed group of colleagues and friends and by the unveiling of a bronze bust in his image done by sculptor Marc Mellon. The bust is displayed at the Institute. |
